Product Description
3M EMI Copper Foil Shielding Tape 1181 is a 0.066 mm copper foil tape with an electrically conductive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and removable liner for EMI/RFI shielding and static charge control. Silver-coated glass beads in the adhesive create an electrical path between the copper backing and the application surface. The tape averages 66 dB shielding effectiveness from 300 kHz to 2.5 GHz under ASTM D4935 testing and has maximum electrical resistance of 0.005 ohm/in2 under the stated MIL-STD-202 test. It can be die-cut and soldered for shielded-room seams, cable wrapping, electrical contact to non-solderable surfaces, and prototype electronics work.
